Hazel nutted Latte

Good morning America, have a great Friday.

The new voice of Democracy. Loud, clear and youthful.

Time for a Green New Deal.
Rep Ocasio- Cortez
"When we talk about the concern for the environment as an elitist concern, one year ago I was waitressing in a taco shop in downtown Manhattan. I just got health insurance for the first time a month ago. This is not an elitist issue. This is a quality of life issue. You want to tell people that their concern and their desire for clean air and clean water is elitist? Tell that to the kids in the South Bronx which are suffering from the highest rates of childhood asthma in the country. Tell that to the families in Flint whose kids, their blood is ascending in lead levels, their brains are damaged for the rest of their lives. Call them elitist. You're telling them that those kids are trying to get on a plane to Davos? People are dying!"

Life expectancy has fallen for the first time in many years.

McConnell tried to rush the #GreenNewDeal straight to the floor without a hearing.

The real question we should be asking: Why does the Senate GOP refuse to hold any major hearings on climate change?

Uber and Lyft face dozens of lawsuits. Why are Child proof locks still allowed? They should be eliminated on ride sharing vehicles. This is a major crisis for Lyft and Uber. Ride sharing is weak technology that is clearly underdeveloped.

Is looking at the license plate the best Uber and Lyft can do? Especially after a night of drinking. Really.

Or having the driver use your name? Ridiculous. The cars need matching technology to identify the car via the phone numbers with proximity sensors.

Those yellow cabs are looking better all the time.

Nine people were sexually assaulted by "fake Uber drivers" between September 2016 and February 2018 in Los Angeles, a new lawsuit alleges.

The lawsuit is being brought by three of the individuals, all listed as Jane Does, who claim they were raped by individuals who posed as Uber drivers to pick up passengers. It was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday.
