Save America

Hello America

I know you’re devastated and scared and want to crawl into a corner with a bottle of Jack Daniels, but this is not the time to give up. This is the time to get started and fight. We’ve got 6 1/2 weeks to go before this thing is over, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg would want us to do everything we can do save the country she gave her life to.

Here’s what you can do to help Joe and Kamala win this thing:

1. Phone bank and text –– go to https://www.mobilize.us/joebiden/ and sign up for some events. Anyone, anywhere can do it.

2. Donate to the Biden campaign here

3. Sign up for Postcards to Voters. For a nominal fee, they’ll send you a stack of postcards and stamps to fill out. You can do as many or as little as you wish for any number of causes.

There’s also a ton of down-ballot candidates who you should donate your time and money to, particularly in the Senate, which we need to take out of Mitch McConnell’s tiny turtle hands. Right now there are three races Democrats are virtually guaranteed to win––Mark Kelly in Arizona, John Hickenlooper in Colorado, and Sara Gideon in Maine. Here are the races that you would be wise to give to now:

1. Alaska––Dr. Al Gross, independent candidate, is tied with Dan Sullivan in the latest polls.

2. Georgia––Jon Ossoff is very close to beating David Perdue and can do it with just a little more from you.

3. Iowa––Theresa Greenfield is very close to beating Joni Ernst, who’s become one of the most unpopular Senators in the country.

4. Kansas –Dr. Barbara Bollier is making the Republicans sweat bullets here, and she’s up against a weak Republican congressman, Roger Marshall. She can absolutely win this thing and if she does she’ll be the first Democratic Senator from Kansas since the New Deal.

5. Montana––Steve Bullock, the outgoing Montana governor, is struggling to overcome Steve Daines in the polls, but he’s only within two points and can bring this thing home with your help.

6. North Carolina––Cal Cunningham has a great shot at defeating Thom Tillis.

7. South Carolina –Jaime Harrison is TIED with Leningrad Lindsey Graham in the latest polls, 48-48! He’d be the first Black Democrat ever elected from the South! He’s an amazing politician and will be a great Senator.

8. Texas––MJ Hegar is running neck-and-neck with John Cornyn.

You can donate on each of their pages or make a big donation at Get Mitch or Die Trying that will get split among them.

Now, one of the most important races in the country right now that’s flying under the radar, is for control of the Texas State House of Representatives. The Democrats are only eight seats away from winning the chamber, and if they do, THEY will be in charge of redistricting Texas next year after they get the census. This means THE END of Republican gerrymandering in Texas, and if that happens, the Republicans LOSE THEIR LIFELINES. If we flip the Texas House, IT IS THE END OF THE MODERN REPUBLICAN PARTY AS WE KNOW IT. You can donate and volunteer here: https://flipthetxhouse.com

Get up off your backs and fight. We’ve got the momentum here. Don’t listen to the doomsayers. Heed Sean Connery’s words in The Untouchables: “He pulls a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yous to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. That’s the Chicago way––and that’s how you nail Capone.” https://youtu.be/xPZ6eaL3S2E?t=32

How and why Trump is losing Latino Voters in Florida.

Trump has repeatedly said that illegal immigrants are criminals. But Biden is helping Latinos.

Latino voters are turning democratic in Florida to save schools, health care, and immigration policies.

Trump said Hispanics are 'like blacks' and 'too stupid to vote ...

Half of Latinos say their situation in the U.S. has worsened over the past year, up from 32% in the weeks after Donald Trump won the 2016 presidential election and the highest level since the Great Recession.1 In addition, more say they have serious concerns about their place in American society now (49%) than in 2017 (41%). And a majority (55%) say they are worried that they, a family member or close friend could be deported.

A hallmark promise of his campaign was to build a substantial wall on the United States–Mexico border and to force Mexico to pay for the wall.

TRUMP’S VENDETTA AGAINST PUERTO RICO IS STILL GOING STRONG

Trump floated idea of selling Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, says ex-Homeland Security head Duke

U.S President Donald Trump is powering ahead with his anti-immigration agenda, even as voters say they are more concerned with the coronavirus pandemic and the economic destruction it has wrought.

Donor cash surges to Harrison, the Democrat taking on Graham

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — It won’t be known until Election Day if a poll showing a tightening contest between Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham and Democrat Jaime Harrison portends an upset — but the gains are real enough in the Democrat’s campaign account.

On the heels of a Quinnipiac University poll that has him tied with Graham among likely voters in South Carolina, Harrison’s campaign has marked two back-to-back fundraising days of $1 million apiece, bringing his total fundraising to over $30 million.

It’s a staggering sum, unheard of for a Democrat competing in this conservative state, and matches what Graham has also raised in his pursuit of a fourth term. It also dwarfs the $10 million figure Harrison previously told The Associated Press he thought necessary to win.
