It. A traditional meal of Kasha and Fried Chicken.
Note: Kasha is gluten free.
To make this meal,
One cup kasha, two cups water, one egg.
Add boiling water to roasted kasha and egg.
Steam twenty five minutes.
For chicken: This is from a breast, cut into pieces then coated twice with egg.
Then tossed into bread crumbs. Then into hot oil ten minutes or so, depending on
thickness.
